Round 1: 6 sc in MR. [6]

Round 2: 6 inc. [12]

Round 3: (Sc, inc) × 6. [18]

Round 4: (Sc, inc, sc) × 6. [24]

Round 5: (3 sc, inc) × 6. [30]

Round 6: (2 sc, inc, 2 sc) × 6. [36]

Round 7: (5 sc, inc) × 6. [42]

Round 8–12: 42 sc. [42]

Round 13: (5 sc, dec) × 6. [36]

Round 14: (2 sc, dec, 2 sc) × 6. [30]

Round 15: (3 sc, dec) × 6. [24]

Round 16: (Sc, dec, sc) × 6. [18]

Round 17: (Sc, dec) × 6. [12]

Round 18: 6 dec. [6]

Stuff firmly, then weave the yarn tail through the front loops of the last round, pull tight to close and fasten off.

Round 1: 5 sc in MR. [5]

Round 2: 5 inc. [10]

Round 3: Sl st in next st, then work the following two leaf types alternately for a total of 5 leaves:

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Leaf Type 1: Ch 4, starting in the 2nd ch from the hook, sl st in next ch, sc in next 2 ch, sk next st of the base, sl st in next st.

Leaf Type 2: Ch 5, starting in the 2nd ch from the hook, sl st in next ch, sc in next 3 ch, sk next st of the base, sl st in next st.

Work the leaves in this order: Type 1, Type 2, Type 1, Type 2, Type 1.

Assembly

Sew the leaves to the tomato, pinning each piece in place first and using the photos as your guide.
